The Parish Church of St Mary Magdalene, Newark-on-Trent

The recent completion of the new choir library, vestry and Song Room means that the whole choir can enjoy rehearsing in the comfort of the Song School with custom-designed choir desks, brand-new choir folders, fresh water on tap and in a warm and studious environment. The music library has over 6,000 copies of music ranging from the 10th century through to new music, still practically wet with ink! It took 3 weeks of constant work to restock and house the library, filling a whole skip with all of the excess rubbish. Our beautiful German grand piano has been carefully removed and lovingly restored by Lincoln Piano Service, and will be installed shorty.
