• To worship God through the Christian traditions and to be open and welcoming to people of different faith and no faith

 

• To enable the church building to be used as a resource for the town of Newark and the surrounding region

 

• To be an inclusive community of the Christian faith, welcoming everyone irrespective of race, class, gender, age, sexual orientation

 

• To maintain and develop a practice of pastoral care and social outreach to the communities in which we live

 

• To foster an inclusive, dynamic and happy music department, achieving the highest standards in choral worship

 

• To work together in partnership with other organisations and churches on issues of healing, justice, reconciliation and the environment

 

• To be committed to life-long learning and the celebration of our life together and God’s world in all its diversity
